Who is Cape and Islands United Way?

- We are proud to be the single largest non-governmental funder of human
service programs on the Cape and the Islands.
- We provide over $ 1,000,000 of local program support annually.
- 99.5% of all dollars contributed to the Cape and Islands United Way
stays here.

- We are a locally chartered, professionally managed, independently
governed organization by an all-volunteer board of local leaders.
- Funding decisions are approved by the Board of Directors, upon the
recommendations of an all-volunteer Community Investment Committee.
- The Cape and Islands United Way has over 150 volunteers engaged in
fund-raising, assessing long and short-term community needs and operational
support.
- The Cape and Islands United Way seeks to be more than money to the
community... building partnerships, forging consensus, and leveraging
resources to a make a measurable difference.
